Kids 12 - 16 Years - Workshop Option D

Electronics 2:  Build a voice box! Stuff and solder a pc board, mount ic’s (integrated circuits) and assemble the unit. After the  one on one assembly with a trained electronics tech, speak into the voice box and hear a voice that isn't yours! - GET CRAZY! 
Waves: Learn about amplitude, wavelength and frequency. Using a mechanical wave machine, learn about traveling and standing waves, diffraction and refraction. Using a ripple tank see water waves. With tuning forks, listen to sound waves. With lasers and optical benches, look at light waves... see diffraction, refraction, focusing and interference! - SURF’S UP!

Kids 9 to 11 years - Option A  or Option B or Option C      Kids 12 years & up - Option D or Option E or Option F
