Kids 9-11 Years - Workshop Option C

Paleonotology: There is a dinosaur at SLAC! Well, maybe not a dinosaur but a really old mammal! Learn about Paleoparadoxia! Where did it live? How old is it! Adele Panofsky will share her experience of assembling the skeleton and what SLAC was like 15 MILLION years ago!  DIG DEEP!
Safety: How do you climb a ladder and stairs? Why do we wear safety glasses? Learn about the do's and dont's of a high powered scientific laboratory! PLAY IT SAFE!
Facilitation: How do people get along, anyway? There are a thousand people at SLAC who have to work together and all move in the same direction. But guess what? Some want to go one way and some another! And both groups know what there doing! So how do we finally end up at the right place? GET IT TOGETHER!
Glast: You know that people at SLAC look at teeny tiny sub atomic particles at SLAC, but did you know that people also are looking into deepest, darkest outer space? Learn about outer space and the neat things going on there! HAVE A BLAST AT GLAST!
