To: Young physicists (in non-tenured, non-permanent positions)
[We apologize in case this doesn't apply to you, but if
you have young physicists at your institution who didn't receive
this email, please let them know.  Thank you.]

Dear young physicist,

Do you feel that HEP outreach to the general public is important?
Do you think we should be doing more? Would you like to discuss this
with other young physicists, hear and share ideas or experience, and
explore the possibility of getting involved?

If so, we would like to invite you as a young physicist working on
experiments, theory or accelerators at SLAC to join us for

               SLAC YPP's "Outreach Opportunities"

                                      on

                     Tuesday, Mar. 26, 2002

                             at 4:00 pm

                       in the Orange Room

Professor Helen Quinn, SLAC's Education and Outreach Coordinator,
will give us an overview about existing outreach activities at SLAC,
followed by discussion on new ideas and how to get involved.

Coffee and cookies will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you all there:

        Ben Brau           (bbrau@slac.stanford.edu)
        Chris Potter       (potter@graviton.uoregon.edu)
        Abi Soffer         (abi@slac.stanford.edu)
        Wolfgang Walkowiak (walkowia@scipp.ucsc.edu)
        Amanda Weinstein   (amanda@slac.stanford.edu)

P.S.:  In case you are interested in YPP but you are not able to
attend the meeting, please email Wolfgang to be put on our mailing
