by
Suzy Ross

Suzy is the Therapeutic Recreation Concentration Coordinator in the Department of Hospitality, Recreation, and Tourism at San Jose State University.

Suzy will educate us through pictures, story, and data on how we can travel more lightly, honor the local customs, and thoroughly enjoy our travel experiences using Transformative Learning Theory; an approach whereby the primary intent of the learner is to discern an emergent pattern of experiences, in particular, the integration of personal transformation, when travelers return home.

Suzy provides consultation services to Recreational Therapy agencies and as a therapist, specializes in women’s requirements in survivor trauma, post traumatic stress, and adventure therapy.
