speaking on

"The History of Moffett Field"

Moffett Field has been a landmark in the Silicon Valley
since the 1930's.  The Moffett Field Historical Society
was formed in 1993 to capture the heritage of Moffett
Field for future generations. The Society is dedicated to
education about and preservation of the heritage of
one of Northern California's most significant historical sites…the
Moffett Federal Air Field.

The Society's museum has an impressive exhibit on
Women in the Military, which will be discussed by
Captain Spink, along with other historical facts, such as
the air field's major contributions to our national security.
