Roberta Ahlquist

                               

San Jose State University Professor & Author

                             speaking on

"Keeping the 'Public" in Public Schooling:
K-12 Education and Charter Schools"

 

Roberta Ahlquist, professor at SJSU for over 30 years, teaches critical multicultural foundations of education

and supervises prospective high school teachers.  Her areas of research include critical race theory, critical multicultural

education, hegemony, indigenous education and postcolonial studies.

 

Roberta co-authored the book, "Assault on KIDS" which analyzes so-called "solutions" for improving public education.

Join us in hearing Roberta's talk on our current K-12 educational system and the role of the charter schools.
