Talk Science

with

Chemist Graham George

Kids, sponsors, escorts and workshop volunteers are invited to an ice cream social in the breezeway of Panofsky Auditorium at at 2:30, just after the last workshop is over. There will be an opportunity to relax and re-energize before the final, fun, science talk.

Dr. Graham George,  will "talk science" in the SLAC auditorium. Both Dr. George and his wife, Dr. Ingrid Pickering, are research chemists. Between experiments on x-ray beamlines, they attend to their family that includes 3 children: 2 boys and a girl. Educated in England, they were on the scientific staff at SSRL for more than a decade. Dr George and his family have moved to Saskatchewan Canada, where they work at the Canadian Light Source. We guarantee that Dr George will capture your attention. Fasten your seatbelt, it's going to be a fun ride!!
