Minutes of the E163 Civil Construction Meeting, 3/17/04.

Attendees: E. Colby, R. Principe, H. Shin, C. Corvin, D. Palmer, R. Noble, D. Amador, R. Siemann, D. Walz

1. The two drawings coordinated by R. Principe in support of the laser room bid package were reviewed. The two drawings contain a general layout of the room with the electrical single line diagram, and an electrical panel schedule.

It was decided to omit the original laser room utility worksheet that dilineated the actual laser equipment as this would not be useful to the vendor.

2. It was decided that all doors of the laser room will open outward.

The future clean power connection to the mezzanine will be made via an independent conduit run from the E163 J-box on the ESB north wall rather than through a connection in the laser room.

3. The laser room bid package being assembled by H. Shin was reviewed.

It was decided to ask for a performance period of 90 days in the spec without specifying the end of fiscal year boundary. It was also decided that all electrical conduits for the laser room can be standard EMT type. Other changes to the spec would be collected between Colby, Noble, and Palmer and submitted to Shin on Thursday morning 3/18.

4. Goal is to complete the final bid package for the laser room by Friday 3/19.
