Minutes of
the E163 Civil Construction Meeting,
Attendees: E. Colby, J. Sevilla, R. Principe, H. Shin, P. Rodriguez, D. Palmer, R.
Noble, D. Amador, C. Corvin
1. Laser room electrical
requirements were discussed with D. Amador. The
new E163 45 kVA
transformer outside ESB is intended as the source of all
clean power for laser room and
other needs associated with the experimental
hall. Consequently it was decided
not to install an additional clean power
conditioner in the laser room. Lighting
and computer power will come from
an existing 110V "dirty
power" line. Three clean power pendant outlets above the laser tables are
requested. E. Colby will provide D. Amador a revised
sketch of the laser room clean
power and dirty power needs. Amador and
R. Principe will modify the
electrical spec drawing accordingly for inclusion
in the draft laser room bid
package.
2. J. Sevilla
reported that parts are on order to arrive the week of March 1 for the E163
hall water manifold. Purchase req is in for plumbing
contractor and work expected to start by March 3. NLC 8-Pack will be off part
of
next week so the fire alarm can
be turned off to allow plumbing tie in to the
8-Pack manifold stub out. Sevilla will include supply-return pressure gauges
to the manifold in the hall.
3. Sevilla
will meet with Mike Racine, EFD, today 2/26 to
schedule start of
installation of modulator cooling
manifold instrumentation.
4. H. Shin has started a
draft laser room bid package with the goal of having the pacakge
done by March 10. We will review the status at the March 3 civil meeting.
