Minutes of the E163 Civil Construction Meeting, 2/11/04.

Attendees: D. Amador, R. Principe, H. Shin,

D. Palmer, R. Siemann, R. Noble, D. Walz

1. Ricky Principe brought the existing E163 electrical wiring layout which

has a preliminary sketch by Mario Machicao for the laser room electrical supply. Ricky will create a file of just that section, and we will use

it in the bid package. We will review the sketch at the next Civil meeting

and revise it to agree with our present specs with Dino Amador's assistance.

2. Dennis Palmer will review the laser room electrical power requirements both for loads inside and outside the room, and in terms of the breakdown of clean and dirty power.

3. It was agreed to use the laser room drawing of Ron Rogers for the bid

package with minimal electrical detail. It was agreed that a text description of our laser room electrical needs is adequate for the bid package, other than the sketch to be included from Item 1 above.

4. Dino Amador will arrange to have the vertical cable tray extensions installed above the E163 modulator at ESB.

5. We will invite Rob Reek to the next Civil meeting to begin a discussion of the fire detection and suppression for the laser room.

6. Javier Sevilla could not attend but left us drawings of the E163 hall

water manifold for review.
