April Seminar
Tuesday, April 22, 2003 - 12 Noon - 1:00pm

"Pet Assisted Therapy Services"

Speaker : Dianna Wallace

"The doctors will see you now."

Anyone who has ever owned a pet knows of the tremendous love and acceptance pets bring. PATS was begun in 1983 by Judy Kell, whose nine year-old daughter came down with a rare and aggressive form of cancer that eventually took her life. For people who are in difficult life situations, with few positive experiences, access to pets can be of special benefit. When Furry Friends visit, such peoples lives are brightened. Come find out more about these wonderful animals, their owners and how you and your pet can help.
