Speaker : Jaclyn Zoccoli

Jaclyn Zoccoli speaking on:

"Promoting Yourself Professionally and Personally"

Whether it's to get a job, find more resources, or even to find funding, we all must talk to strangers. For many that's a forced necessity and not enjoyed. Since meeting strangers has to happen to begin a profitable relationship, why not enjoy the process?

Zoccoli received her chapter's Woman of the Year award from the American Business Women's Association, and was recognized as one of three Outstanding Women in the Bay Area in 2002. In 2002 she created Success Connection, a business to teach people how and where to find alliances. The same year she joined two other professionals to form the Marketing Solutions Group.

Come and learn some simple techniques for self-promotion from this dynamic speaker.

Here is further information on Ms Zoccoli:

Jaclyn Zoccoli is the originator of 35 networking groups, and has interfaced with over 500 businesses. She will simplify techniques in self promotion and will show resources for women wishing to grow professionally and personally. Her approach is a unique way to build profitable relationships. She will provide tools to make connections last. Her book Spontaneous Combustion, Developing Profitable Relationships will be on sale after the talk.

With a BA from San Jose State University, Jaclyn entered the Peace Corps, destined for West Africa. After 2 years of teaching and community development she returned to San Jose to raise 2 children. Silicon Valley jobs included everything from Document Control to Production Control. Eventually in 1986 she had had enough of bureaucracy and left Rolm Corporation. She began her first business in Desktop Publishing (Graphic Word Systems). After several years her business shifted to training.

Networking and alliances fascinated Jaclyn, and from 1991 on she either created networking clubs (in three Chambers of Commerce, 12 in Elite Leads Silicon Valley) or gave talks on how to develop profitable relationships. In 2002 she created Success Connection, a business to teach people how and where to find alliances. That same year she joined two other professionals to form Marketing Solutions Group.

As an active member of the American Business Women's Association she has received her chapter's Woman of the Year and the entire Bay Area's recognition as one of three Outstanding Women in 2002. She has been critical in the formation of a new express network in the Tracy area. Helping women grow is her passion.
