Silicon Valley Red Cross Disaster Services

speaking on

 

"Fires, Floods and Hurricanes, Oh My!"

 

 

 

Stephanie Charles, a Silicon Valley American Red Cross
volunteer since 2001, has responded to disasters ranging from
tiny (house fires) to immense (Katrina).  She is active in
disaster preparedness,  and engaged in recruiting volunteers to
support every activity in the chapter from International
Casework to CPR classes to Safe Ride.  

 

Stephanie will discuss Red Cross services, with special
emphasis on disaster response.  Every disaster is unique, and
Stephanie will share stories from her own experiences to
illustrate the ways in which the Red Cross helps those impacted
by fires, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes.
