                          Mary Hanna

Mary Hanna
Local columnist and humorist will be speaking on
"How to figure out what you
want to be when you grow up!"

Mary Hanna's twice weekly humor column "Second Half" is
syndicated throughout the Bay Area and has appeared on
refrigerators on three continents.

Reviewers have called her "as funny as David Sedaris" and
"our generation's Erma Bombeck."  Her regular readers are
hooked on her common sense wit.

Mary's "first half" career spanned 20 years in public relations-
nine of them as the communications manager for the City of
Palo Alto.  She will be speaking to us on figuring out how to
identify a "keeper" career.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008
12 Noon - 1:00 pm
Panofsky Auditorium, Building 43
SLAC, 2575 Sand Hill Rd., Menlo Park, CA

Everyone is welcome - bring your lunch & a friend!
