Administrative & Engineering (Bldg. 041)

The Administrative & Engineering Building (Bldg. 041) will undergo a complete renovation between March 2013 and July 2014. This renovation will include the demolition of all building systems (HVAC, electricity, plumbing, roofing, etc.), down to the existing concrete structure, addition of all new ADA compliant access, and interior reconfiguration on both floors of private offices, conference rooms, ES&H training rooms, and open office workstations and restrooms. The new interior office layout will include 71% open offices. A new two-story building lobby with glass storefront, monumental stair, and two-stop hydraulic elevator will be added at the east side of the building, facing the Campus green. SLAC will seek LEED® Gold Certification for the newly renovated building.
