ATF Test Equipment
A variety of test equipment is being developed to perform measurements on the ATF.
1. Bunch phase monitor: This system measures the difference in phase between the two bunches in the ring as a function of current in the second bunch. This allows measurements of ring impedence. Notes. Operating instructions
2. Bunch length modulation measurement. This system measures the variation in the amplitude of the 6GHz component at 2ws when the RF amplitude is modulated at ws. Block diagram
3. BPM Options The following is a set of notes on possible BPM systems for the ATF. Work is ongoing, and the following is out of date. ATFBPM.pdf
4. Damping Ring Simulator A test box to simulate the signals from damping ring button pickoffs is being developed. The documentation is being updated, the following is out of date. drsimulator.pdf
