| Description: Power is combined from 8 Klystrons to create 600 MW pulses 366 ns long with 15 ns switching times. The RF is delivered from the 8-pack to four girders, 56.3 meters apart, along 4 RF lines at a group velocity of .97c. The RF in the overmoded delay lines travels in the TE01 mode. Each girder supports 3 accelerators, and with an overall RF efficiency of the system at 85%, each accelerator receives 170 MW of peak power. |
