Sri Adiga (Stanford University) presented theoretical considerations of turbulent water flow induced vibrations in NLC pipes and also the preliminary results of two measurements done at SLD and NLCTA. The theory appears to agree well with practice. The slides are here. The estimations made need some refinements (e.g. to take the mass of water into account). Further measurements were also discussed.
