Summary:

Andrei Seryi:  Work for ILC BDS Design

Andrei went over TESLA beam delivery design work that has occurred since the TESLA TDR was published in 2000.  This includes:

• Changes to L* (3m, 4m, 5m)
• Adoption of a "pure NLC-like" final focus
• A hybrid FF that is "NLC-like" in y and "classical (FFTB style)" in x
• Changes to the TDR collimation system
• 300 microrad vertical crossing angle at the IP
• 2 mrad horizontal crossing angle at the IP

He then went on to suggest how the group could study some of these issues.

Finally Andrei showed a few slides on how the proposed serpentine winding in the solenoid could minimize SR effects or orbit effects in the presence of a crossing angle.
