The ATF is the Accelerator Test Facility which contains a test damping ring for the low emittance beams required for a linear collider. The Koh-Enerugy-Kasoku-Kenkyu-Kikou (KEK) National High Energy Accelerator Research Organization in Tsukuba, Japan, hosts this facility.
As part of the SLAC contribution to the Linear Collider Development, and most specifically, the Accelerator Test Facility, we offer these contributions. This page contains links to some of the work of the SLAC part of this collaboration, and is a "work in progress". Contributions are welcome, and any errors should be brought to my attention (rkj@slac.stanford.edu).

Next Linear Collider/Joint Linear Collider:The following links refer to accelerator research being conducted by members of the department, either at SLAC or through an international collaboration. This list is (almost by definition) incomplete, and additions or corrections are welcome.
- NLC (Next Linear Collider, SLAC) and the JLC (Joint Linear Collider, KEK) are two proposals for the next generation of linear colliders.
- The FFTB is the Final Focus Test Beam at SLAC where focusing and diagnostic systems are tested.
- The NLCTA is an X-band (11.424 GHz) test accelerator at SLAC.
