Program Office: Organization

Mission

The ILC, International Linear Collider, a future linear collider for high-energy electrons and their antiparticles, the positrons, will open up unique opportunities to address the 21st-century agenda of central questions about the fundamental nature of matter, energy, space and time, and about dark matter, dark energy and the existence of extra dimensions. The technology decision now allows the next big step to be taken on the way toward that major project of particle physics.
