LARP @ SLAC
SLAC is working on Phase II Secondary Collimators as part of the LHC Accelerator Research Program
Video Meeting Information
- Use the ESNET ad-hoc bridge #885277 (=88LARP)
- You can call into audio by dialing 510-883-7860 and putting in the ad hoc number followed by a # sign
- Here are INSTRUCTIONS that will let you "share your desktop" during an ESNET session (like webex or vrvs)
Joint CERN-SLAC Phase II Collimation Meetings
- These meetings replace the ~monthly video meetings listed above
- Access is typically through
Fermilab sponsored webex
- Browse calendar for meeting date; join meeting; pw is typically 'larp'

Phase I Collimator Engineering Drawings from CERN
- The Phase_I_drawings directory contains initial release of several different collimator assemblies drawings as well as stands, plugins, etc common to all.
- The collimator model we're working with is LHCTCS, along with the 45 degree base. The final production drawings for this one are located in the PhaseI_final directory. The top level assembly is LHCTCS__0001.
- A viewer for these files is located in the
Phase_I_Drawings/Viewer_HPGL directory.
