Baseline for Conventional Facilities
The baseline parameters of ILC physics provide design drivers for the ancillary machine infrastructure. Conventional facilities research, development, design and optimization are extensions of the physics baseline criteria described below.
Baseline Physics Criteria
- Operational Energy Range.
- Minimum top energy.
- Integrated luminosity and time to accumulate it at selected energies.
- Beam polarization and particle type for each beam.
- Number and type of interaction regions.
