Dates:

The HEPiX-HEPNT conference takes place from Monday, October 4 until Friday, October 8. Here is a breakdown of each day:

Shuttle service is readily available from San Francisco Airport to your hotels. The largest service to the Palo Alto area is Supershuttle, who have further information on their web page.
All meeting sessions will be held in SLAC's Panofsky Auditorium, building number 43 on the SLAC Map. The auditorium is directly ahead of you as you enter the SLAC site. Parking is available in the lots to the left and right of the main entrance (marked A, B, and D on the map), then walk up the hill to the Auditorium.

Fee:

$50 for the full week. $30 if attending only HEPiX or HEPNT portions of the meeting. This fee allows us to provide coffee, tea, etc. in the morning and during meeting breaks. The fee is payable in cash or check to "Stanford University" upon arrival. SLAC attendees must provide a valid SLAC account number for reimbursement of the fee.

Rooms have also been set aside specifically for this conference at the Creekside Inn, located at 3400 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306. You can reach it at (650)493-2411, toll-free at 800-492-7335, or by fax at (650)852-9500. The room rate is $135 and they are queen rooms. The release date for these rooms is September 3, though, so hurry up and make your reservations!.

Working Group Dinner:

The Working Group Dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 6 at 7:00 PM at Scott's Seafood. The cost is $40 per person, not including drinks. Guests are welcome at the same rate as meeting attendees. The dinner is payable in cash or check to "Stanford University" upon arrival. Three selections are available from their menu for this conference rate: Grilled Ahi Tuna, Sauteed Prawns, and Grilled Chicken. You will be asked to select one of these entrees in advance at the workshop registration table.

There will be a video projector available during the sessions to connect your laptop for presentations.

There will be workstations available for checking your email, and ports for laptops to connect.
