Juneteenth
is the oldest African American celebration in America. "A Time To Be Remembered" is a 59-minute docudrama that chronicles the events that lead up to the fall of slavery in America. This bittersweet docudrama is based on facts often ignored by most history books. Performances by local actors, live action shots and contributions from local organizations take you back through time. There is an uncanny comparison between today and yesterday that might surprise or shock you. This award winning video presentation was written and directored by Hank Gray, Narrated by Jamie Davis, Special Effects by Steve Berry, and it was produced by Al Baker, who are all SLAC employees. The video will be shown in the SLAC auditoriumWednesday, January 14 at 12:00 Noon.
